Congratulations Miss Teens USA 2009!

On July 31, 2009 Stormi Bree Henley, Miss Tennessee Teens USA was crowned the new Miss Teens USA 2009. The competition was held at the Atlantis, Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas. The event was streamed online via a webcast from the Miss Teens USA website to a worldwide audience for the first time ever. The pageant was traditionally televised over a national station in the United States only, however, following the end of the contract in 2007, the organization decided to take the even world-wide.

Judges at the 2009 Miss Teens USA pageant included: John Shea, Commercial Agent for Frontier Booking, Inc.; Mark Turner, Commercial Agent for Abrams Artistis; Duane Gazi, director of Scouting and Development for Trump Model Management; Heather Kerzner, Kerzner International, Inc.; Rhona Graff, Vice President/Assistant to the President of Trump Organization; Gillian Sheldon Heckendorf, Managing Editor for Momlogic.com; Eric McLendon, Actor and Realtor for The Corcoran Group; and Eva Chen, Beauty and Health Editor for Teen Vogue.

The star-studded event also included Mis USA 2008 Crystle Stewart and Seth Goldman of NBC's "Entertainment Buzz" as emcees for this year's pageant. In addition, Canadian singer/songwriter, Leah Renee, performed a new song, "Insanity" from her debut CD, Storybook. Other songs performed at his year's 2009, Miss Teens USA Pageant include "Over You" and "See you in the Dark" off hit band Honor Society's debut album, Fashionably Late.

Throughout the pageant, Stormi competed against young women from across the 50 states and the District of Columbia in three categories: including swimsuit competition, evening gown, and interview. At the conclusion of the two-hour event, Stevi Perry, Miss Teens USA 2008, crowned her successor, Stormi Bree Henley.

  • Second Runner-Up: Chelsea Gilligan, Miss California Teens USA

  • Fourth Runner-Up: Brittany Guidry, Miss Louisiana Teens USA
